I'm pretty certain the title says it all, but, I just have to wonder if everyone goes through this with their cherished ones at this age. I find it difficult to fathom that you can love someone so much you would lay down your life for him/her, but then also want to choke him unconscious while beating his head against a wall...
Hmmm...Think that's how Jesus feels? (I would venture to guess, "Yes.") Going through this yourself sure makes one think about how she acts and whether or not He is feeling like he wants to strangle me.
He's selfish, rude, disrespectful, TOTALLY UNGRATEFUL, thinks he knows everything, thinks he's above/beyond mistake, thinks he's IT. But we're also talking about a kid who has to call and ask me directions to get someplace he's been 50 times...or someplace that's two miles from him. He definitely lives in his own little world.
Anyway, for anyone who has advice on overcoming this, PLEASE COMMENT.

Considering I have only a six-year old, I really don't have any advice. Anytime you feel like strangling him and beating his head into the wall, feel free to come hangout. :)
