I have to say, I love my church. I go to Journey Church here in Norman (yeah, yeah, I know we're a knock off of LifeChurch!!!) and I really and truly learn something EVERY TIME I walk through the doors. This Sunday we started a series about the Sermon on the Mount. Man...Who knew the steps to the Kingdom of Heaven were both so easy and so hard at the same time? I try...fail miserably most of the time...but I am trying.

Now, I'm not quite as adept and eloquent as Michael at this point in time about sharing what I learned in church (and I have SO MUCH to learn), but give me time (literally and figuratively) and you'll get an "earful" from me, too.

I'm trying to remember what I did after church...I know Evan took a nap, I did some cleaning and... oh yeah, I went to Sam's (woo hoo!). I think I went to Blockbuster at some point.

My life is pretty uneventful and uninteresting, really...

You saying that I give an "earful"? haha! This past Sunday, Liz worked during 2 services and attended 1...we were at church for a whopping 5 hours. After church, we went to lunch, then came home and I mowed the yard. After the yard, I got cleaned up and we went grocery shopping.

I messed up...this past Sunday Liz and I worked 2 services and attended 1.

I forgot part of that...I don't want it to sound like she worked while I sat in the bookstore or something. We both did the same stuff...during the 10am service we were part of the HostTeam, attended the 11:30 service, and then we helped with a kid's class during the 1pm service.

I just meant about what was in the sermons. You're really good at talking about those!!!

If you know Journey's a knock-off, why not just come to the real thing? :) Just kidding! We're not trying to steal you from Journey...and Life is a further drive from Norman, but it'd be cool to have you there!

I LOVE Journey! I'm pretty sure the only way I would change churches is if they closed the doors. That's not to say that I won't visit somewhere else, though!
